Content Focused Coaching Content Focused Coaching (CFC) is a professional development model at the elementary level designed to support rigorous literacy instruction in every classroom. The goal of CFC is to support the development of collaborative practice-based professional learning where all educators are engaged in the study and use of research-supported and standards-based instruction. This will ensure that all students will develop the concepts and habits needed to become proficient readers, writers, thinkers and communicators.
